I joined the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2010 and was juried into active status with the Calgary Chapter: Federation of Canadian Artists. I am working on my application to the The Alberta Society of Artists

I have attended functions at the
Leighton Art Centre, Gallery and Museum and will soon be a member there as well.

My Web 2.0

I have maintained Flickr albums since 2006 which can be seen here as a slideshow.

I also maintain a number of Picasa albums including albums for a selection of my acrylics and plein air paintings.

Slideshare allows me to embed slideshows in blogs and webpages as well as simply sharing Presentations that others might find useful: My Slideshare

Recently I began to upload more images to My Panoramio and this is my Panoramio slideshow in its earliest stages.

In addition to these photoblogs I maintain Wordpress blogs including speechless.

I keep track of my reading using delicious for bibliographies which I call webliographies. I have used digg as a way to share contemporary issues. I upload some of my academic work on thinkfree.com and will Twitter from time to time.

My Google Maps are one of my favourite Web 2.0 tools and I map mountains, melting ice, social histories, fictions, etc. This map of Parkdale, Calgary, AB shows some of its architectural history.
